"Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion; it
is not the expression of personality, but an escape from personality. But, of
course, only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want
to escape from these things." ~T. S. Eliot

did, but people will NEVER forget how you make them feel ~ Maya Angelou

New Look and a New Me

As I look at my calendar I see that January has come and almost gone, where has the month gone. My husband and I were on vacation this last week and we spent some very much needed quality time together, to work some things out and to be together when it was just US. We went to Ocala, spent sometime at the park, and we drove around alot this last week, going really nowhere just talking and laughing and remembering that we mean alot to each other and that god will shake the tree when he sees were not appreating each other. That is what he has done in my life this month, God shook the tree hard and it really made me think about all of the past hurts and turmoil that we got thur these last past 2 years and I don't want to go thur that again.

While doing a bible study at church, I picked this book up from the bookstore it's called,
"One Year Mini for Women." It has been a god sent for me so when I'm worried or when I have some type of problem that I need to work thur I pick this book up and start looking for what is waying heavy on my heart and go to that section and pray that I'll get knowledge of what I need.

I've recently had a setback and when I knew it would come up again, I thought I could deal with it, but guess what? I couldn't so instead of getting angry, bitter and not dealing withit. I ran, and I ran to God and he showed me what I needed to do. Here are some of the words that I read about "SETBACKS"

"When we have setback, how do we keep going in the face of a setback?"

"While bad experiences happen in life we know that God does not send them, instead God uses them to prepare us for an important assignment later on. Looking at setback from that perspective keeps us alert to what you can learn from them and helps you to endure them."

I'm so glad that we got this week to be together, because instead of not dealing with the feelings and what really was going on, we headed right to the problem and we dealt with them, worked thur something, that in the past would of sweept under the carpet and went on. I'm so proud of US..It makes me smile to think that God always has his loving hand on US.

As far as I am concerned, God turned into good what you meant for evil. Genesis 50:20
